Treat Your Skin With Belli- Review

Unfortunately, I was not blessed with a clear complexion.  My whole life I’ve had to battle oily skin and blemishes.  This battle only worsened when I got pregnant and then breastfed my daughter, since I was no longer able to use the facial cleansers that had been my go-to due to the chemicals used in them.

I have recently discovered Belli, and now feel completely comfortable with my new skincare routine while breastfeeding my daughter.  Belli is paraben, salicylic, glycolic and benzoyl peroxide-free.  I know that avoiding these harsh chemicals is not only allowing me to continue to breastfeed my daughter, but is healthier for myself and my skin as well.

prep
I now regularly use the Belli Prep: Fresh Start Pre-Treatment Scrub, which retails for $24.00.  This scrub is meant to be used 2-3 times a week to exfoliate, clear away old skin, and prepare your skin for the application of other Belli products.  I have to say I LOVE this Scrub.  It’s clean scent was invigorating to use and I didn’t find the scrub too harsh on my face as I have sometimes found other scrubs to be in the past.  After using the Belli scrub my skin felt super smooth and soft, and most of all- clean!

cleanse
On a daily basis I use the Belli Cleanse: Anti-Blemish Facial Wash, which retails for $22.00.  This facial wash has a similar scent to the scrub.  The Belli cleanse wash contains green tea extract and cucumber, which are rich in antioxidants to help your skin feel fresh.  The Belli wash also contains lemon peel oil, which is a natural anti-bacterial to help clear up acne, and a skin brightener.

me
After using the Belli skincare system for a week I was already able to tell a difference.  My skin is brighter and clearer, and I don’t end up with the grimy feeling on my face that I would occasionally get using other products.

Belli offers tons of other great products as well!   If you’re simply looking to get a great skin care routine in place, they offer their Treat: Acne Control Spot Treatment for $17.00 and their Revitalize: Eye Brightening Cream for $39.00.  They also have great products aimed specifically for those who are expecting, such as their Protect: Elasticity Belly Oil for $34.00 and their Correct: Stretchmark Minimizing Cream for $49.00.

In addition to being clear from so many harsh chemicals, all Belli products are allergy tested, free of artificial dyes and fragrances, and not tested on animals.  I feel confident using Belli because you can see the time, energy, and thought that has gone into their products.  For those worried about using harsh chemicals due to pregnancy, having an infant, or are simply more aware of the products they are using, the Belli skincare products are a must have.

BUY:  You can purchase Belli products directly from their website as well as from Buy Buy Baby, Destination Maternity, diapers.com, drugstore.com, Ulta Beauty, and Zappos.com.
