Turn Your Phone’s Photos into Albums with Photos2Books

In a house full of boys, I’m not all that much of a girly girl any longer and, as crazy as it may seem, this momma doesn’t even have a purse. My cell phone, keys and ID are, more or less, all that I need. My car on the other hand, well that has turned into my storage area for a collection of things. Some days, I’m not even sure how I manage fitting all of the groceries in there. It is not a mess by any means, but I certainly have everything that I need. The kids’ stroller, a diaper bag full of the necessities, a mini first aid kid, etc. and I kind of prefer it that way. With a kid on my hip and the other little guy holding my hand, I have no space (or extra arm) to carry a purse. Keeping things simple is a nice change but there are some things about my girly purse carrying days that I do miss. Photos of those that I hold dear are one of those things. Sure, there are an endless amount of pictures living in my cell phone but it’s more fun to actually flip through the images of a photo book.

I was recently introduced to a lovely little company that couples the joy of looking through your most precious photos and the ease of compactly carrying them with you. Both, on your keychain (genius!) and in a small, credit card sized fits-in-your-pocket style book, this company has certainly solved the “too bulky” issue and then some!

Photos2Books truly is a darling little company that has solved my own dilemma of no longer being able to have my favorite photos easily on hand. Some may call me old school for wanting to have photos with me aside from those on my cell phone, but my kids enjoy it too! Photos2Books recently sent us a set of photo books to try out and we absolutely love them!

Both kids carry around their own little sets of play keys so their respective key chains now each don a Photos2Books Micro Album.  For only $9.95, this adorable 18-page book fits perfectly onto your key chain. My two take their play keys everywhere with them and have been thrilled with their new Photos2Books albums. Everywhere we go, they are constantly flipping through the pictures and telling everyone about the stories behind each image. It is entirely too cute!

As for momma, well, I got the bigger of the albums and went with the Photos2Books Mini Album. This book is sold at a slightly higher price for $15.95. The Mini Album is three inches tall and a tad more than two inches wide and features twelve of your favorite photos. Its small size makes it perfect for carrying in your back pocket or even in a small clutch.

As charming as these tiny photo albums may be, I think that the best part may just be how to get them. Yes, there’s an app for that! To get started, download the Photos2Books app from the iTunes app store (Android app coming soon!).

Once you’ve downloaded the app, the rest is a piece of cake. First, choose which book you’d like to make – the Micro Album or the Mini Album.

Once you’ve decided on a book, you’ll need to decide on one of six colors:

• Lavender
• Moss
• Pink
• Chocolate
• Navy
• Blue

Then, the fun begins! You can go through your phone and choose whichever photos you’d like printed in your Photos2Books album! With the option to crop, resize, and even rotate your photos while in the app, you have a wonderful creative outlet right at your fingertips. Getting a snazzy, compact, easily portable photo album is just a bonus!

We certainly like our own Photos2Books albums and the kids had a blast searching through Mommy’s phone for all of their favorite pictures. It has been great seeing how much they enjoy their books. After seeing how much fun they’ve had with their Micro Albums, it gave me an idea. Gift giving! Think about it.
