It never fails. During the Summertime each year, at least one person in my family gets sunburned. They seem to get burnt no matter how much sunscreen I have in the house, the car, or the diaper bag. I had the opportunity to use the FirstDegree® Burn Care first, since I burned myself shortly after receiving it. I was lighting sparklers for the kids and one happened to light a little too close to my thumb and the whole length of my thumb was burnt. I was in horrible pain and I could barely keep flicking the lighter to light more (how can I say no to my kids when they were excited about the sparklers?). Eventually the pain got to be too much and I remembered the FirstDegree® Burn Care. I applied a layer to my thumb where it was burned, and it immediately started feeling better. I expected my thumb to blister up horribly and to be in pain for days. While it did swell up and hurt a little for a day or two, it wasn’t nearly as bad as I thought it would be. I did get a blister, but it was so minimal that I didn’t even realize that it had turned into a blister and then before I knew it, it was gone. It has to be the quickest healing burn I’ve ever had. Looking at it now, I don’t even have a scar!
