My girls have really great imaginations and love to play pretend. I like getting them toys and other products that let them expand their imaginations, learn, and have a fun time playing. We recently received a set of
Zoonicorns and I was thrilled to see that the Zoonicorns are exactly the types of toys I want them to play with.
The Zoonicorns are a mix between a zebra and a unicorn. There are four Zoonicorns and each one is a different color and has different traits – Valeo (the blue Zoonicorn who is the leader of the group), Promithea (the purple Zoonicorn who is shy but a reliable friend), Ene (the green Zoonicorn who is mischievous and loves to nap) , and Aliel (the pink Zoonicorn who is always going at full speed). Each Zoonicorn is a small plush toy perfect for playing and cuddling.
The Zoonicorns also come with a storybook called “Buffy Meets the Zoonicorns.” Buffy is a little bison who lives in a zoo, but wants to be alone and free. She goes to sleep one night and dreams of being out in a wide open plain where she can run free. She discovers that she is lonely though, until she meets the Zoonicorns. They take Buffy on a fun adventure. Buffy wakes up back in the zoo, happy to be with her family again, but she knows that she can always see the Zoonicorns again in her dreams. That is what the Zoonicorns do – they appear in the dreams of zoo animals and take them on adventures where the animals learn important life lessons, like that it is okay to want to be alone but being with family is important too.
My girls enjoyed the story of Buffy and the Zoonicorns, and the illustrations in the book are great. I love how each Zoonicorn has a different personality and teaches children different things. According to the book, “Valeo wants you to feel strong and brave,” “Aliel shows you how to be carefree and light,” “Ene cheers you up with a song or a joke,” and “Promithea is peaceful and helps you feel calm” – all things that I want my girls to learn. There are more books to come, and I can’t wait to read them!

This is the cutest and sweetest book and toy! I love that each character has their own “special” qualities. This is a great and fun tool to teach equality and acceptance. Just lovely!
I have never heard of the zoonicorns before. I like the fact you can buy the animal and or book.
Would love to buy 2 sets for my Grandchildren, but a little over my budget. I know that they would love them. Maybe for Christmas? Will wait n see! Have a free give away for Columbus Residents only! Just a thought, would definitely save on shipping!
