With the economy the way it is today, and schools suffering, I am glad to see that Famous Footwear and Converse are doing something that can help schools!
Famous Footwear’s Rock Your School contest gives a high school up to $75,000 toward educational improvements! This opportunity is fantastic, and you can help your child’s school or any local neighborhood school that you feel needs a little help. One individual will also receive a cash prize up to $25,000!
Simply share, in an essay, how you would use the funds to “rock” your school. Essays must be 200 words or less. You will also be asked to upload a photo to accompany your essay. You can enter on the Famous Footwear Facebook page or if you prefer, you can download the Rock Your School mobile app (for iPhone and Android).
Entries will be judged on quality of photo, impact on high school, creativity, originality and quality of essay. 50 finalists will be selected and then the voting phase begins. Out of these 50 entries, the public will choose their favorite entry.
If you know any kids in high school, please share this contest information with them. Winning this could greatly help their school!
