The Mother Company: When Miles Got Mad

We were so excited when The Mother Company sent Luv a copy of their newest book to review a few weeks ago! She was first sent a sneak peek .pdf file that she read on my iPad. But the other day her When Miles Got Mad hardcover copy arrived! She happily added it to her bookshelf after reading it again. [*]

Mad feelings can be one of the hardest emotions for children to work out. Reading this book with Luv has helped her recognize that she is feeling mad and voice it. Talking it out with her has helped immensely. She will even say, “Let’s talk about my feelings, Momma.” I feel it is important for her to know that it is okay to be mad and frustrated… but I also encourage her to find resolve so those feelings don’t linger. There’s nothing worse than feeling grumpy all day!

When Miles Got Mad is a great book to help little ones work through their mad feelings! You can look for it at your local bookstore or snag a copy at The Mother Company website. The book is priced at $12.95 and worth every penny when I consider how it has helped Luv acknowledge such rough emotions.

The Mother Company is happy to offer a copy of When Miles Got Mad for one of you!

  1. I believe my granddaughter could enojoy this book Sally Simon Simmons’ Super Frustrating Day as she does have very touchy feelings if everything does not go her way.
