Christmas is this week! Can you believe it?!
Our little ones are still young so they really don’t ask for much. Typically, there’s one or two things that they have an interest in but, aside from that, they just enjoy the spirit of the holidays. That being said, instead of going overboard with buying toys that they’d quickly lose interest in, many of our holiday gifts are practical items. Clothing is surely a big one in our home and, quite honestly, I like it that way. The kids get super excited over their “cool, new” shirts and we’re quietly pleased that Santa Claus has invested in something that will last. Speaking of lasting; we have two little boys, so their clothing usually ends up getting passed down from our oldest to our youngest thus meaning that it must, in fact, last. Through all of the rough and rowdy little boy wear and tear, through the wash a thousand times, grass stains, spilled milk, and then some, each and every item should withstand the test of time. Should it not? It took me a little while to figure out which children’s clothing brands were better at this but, once I did, we never looked back. And, now, there is one brand that we frequent because I am confident in its items’ quality… and price!
We started out shopping the Carter’s brand when we picked up a set of good ol’ baby footie pajamas. Oddly enough, even after two little ones, we still have these (and many more) tucked away in storage. Since then, we’ve ended up with years’ worth of wardrobe from there. Between the wonderful, lasting quality and the incredible, bargain prices, my children have unintentionally become walking advertisements for the brand.
