When did you first fall in love with fashion? This is the question that Chico’s is asking – but there is also something in it for you! For me, I would have to say that I first fell in love with fashion when I was working in an office. I had so much fun mixing and matching different pieces to create new outfits. I must admit I looked quite stylish then, and do miss those days. I still manage to put together a nice outfit when going out, but I definitely need to head to Chico’s to see what is new!

Here is mine :: I think I first fell in love with fashion later than most — I was in my late teens and "saw the light" that was fashion. Of course, working full time and having my own money to splurge fueled that fire. My appreciation for fashion has since matured and evolved to more classic and sensible pieces, but I still like to mix in some trendy pieces.

I did enter the chico's contest last week but its ended now. This is what I wrote “As a kid, I had to wear what my mother bought me. Usually the inexpensive knock-offs of the things I really wanted. When I started making money of my own, I made sure I bought the things I liked. My body, my style. I’m not a trend setter but when I am wearing the things I like, I feel good about myself.

When I was 4 or 5 and started circling clothing I wanted in my mom's catalogs.
I entered the giveaway when it was open and found my story:
I always loved fashion! When I was a little girl I would try on all my outfits and check to see what I was going to wear! I was three and always in trouble because my sister would tell my Mom ,"Sissy is in the clothes again!!" I would't wear pants it had to be dresses! My first day of kindergarten I dressed to the hilt!I was 4 at the time ,turning 5 later that year and I wore my frilly dress,hat,gloves and my purse! I wouldn't take off my hat or put down my purse because it would ruin my outfit! My love of fashion started young!

My mom had me loving fashion since the day I was born. I was always with the cutest dress and shoes 🙂
I first fell in love with fashion when I was eight or nine, I loved getting dressed up for school, I always wanted my mom to do my hair, and loved wearing dresses, I could not wait to wear makeup and jewelry.
