King Arthur Flour – Lemon Magic Cake Mix

I have known about King Arthur Flour for a long, long time, but I only recently discovered that they have a whole online store filled with amazing products.  I thought they only offered flour at groceries stores, but boy was I wrong!

A little background on King Arthur Flour from their website:

Making naturally pure and consistently performing flour for over 200 years is no easy task, but we take such pride in our flour that we wouldn’t have it any other way. We’re motivated by knowing that every day, people across the country count on our flour – on us – to make their baking the best it can be. And as an employee-owned company, that’s a responsibility every single one of us takes very seriously.

King Arthur Flour is America’s oldest flour company, founded in Boston in 1790 to provide pure, high-quality flour for residents of the newly formed United States. For more than 200 years, we have stood by our commitment to purity and quality. Our flours are free of unnecessary chemicals – never bleached, never bromated – and we hold them to the strictest specifications in the industry so you know that every bag you get – today, next month, or 10 years from now – will perform the same way. King Arthur Flour is available at most major supermarkets nationwide and through our catalogue.

The King Arthur Flour website offers cookware, bakeware, gadgets, mixes, cookbooks – you name it, they’ve got it!

I received the Lemon Magic Cake Mix for review. “Imagine tangy-sweet, moist lemon cake. Now imagine a rich lemon sauce. Imagine them making beautiful music together! That’s King Arthur’s Lemon Magic Cake Mix.”

  • Tender lemon cake makes its own golden-yellow lemon sauce as it bakes: no need for you to prepare topping separately!
  • Set makes 6 individual cakes.

I was eager to try this mix, as my family and I are huge lemon fans.  I make a delicious Lemon Chicken dinner frequently, and I thought these cakes would tie in nicely for dessert.  Preparation was very easy (which I love!), and the flavor was wonderful.  The cakes were light and full of yummy lemon flavor!  This is a perfect dessert to make for any Spring gatherings you may be attending or hosting, or even just to keep on hand at home for a last minute surprise for the family!

In addition to this mix, King Arthur has so many others to choose from.  How convenient they are to store in your kitchen for a spur of the moment sweet tooth, or unexpected company.  I am going to stock up on these!
