Crest and Oral-B Pro-Health Clinical Plaque Control Test Drive

I remember going to my first dental visit when I was 3-years old. I remember it so well because I was scared. I desperately wanted my mom to come into the exam room with me, but they wouldn’t let her. Luckily the dentist was wonderful (and he was my dentist for years to come – until they had to kick me out when I was 18!).

From the time I was 3-years old, my mother made sure that we never missed a 6-month cleaning and check-up. I have followed in her footsteps and from the time my kids were little, they have gone for their regular cleanings. Of course, I still do too! I have seen what can happen to the teeth and gums of those who do not see a dentist regularly, and it is just too important to overlook. Dental health is extremely important. Plus, I believe that the earlier you take a child, they will become used to it, and hopefully won’t have the same fear that comes with going to the dentist for the first time in your later years.

I look forward to sharing what I’ve learned with you, and I will also be offering tips and suggestions to help you make your teeth the best (and healthiest) they can be. You know that really good feeling you have in your mouth when you leave the dentist’s office after a thorough cleaning?  I happen to love that feeling, and am saddened when a day or two goes by and my teeth and gums feel back to “normal”. I want to have that feeling every day!  Sure I can get clean teeth and fresh breath just by brushing, but I want more!  I have started to use the above products and will be sharing my experience and thoughts with you on Facebook and Twitter, as well as a future blog post.
