Dine Under the Stars with the Bugaboo Camper Cook Set Featuring Teflon

Bugaboo Camper Cook Set Featuring Teflon

There’s nothin’ you can do, nothin’ you can say,
Nothin’ you can throw our way come Friday!

That’s right, folks! It is finally Friday! And that means nothing more than a weekend full of awesomeness ahead of us. We’ll likely be spending time on the shoreline soaking up the sun but last weekend, well, that was interesting. We went camping! With the little ones, we didn’t go all out with the middle-of-the-wilderness camping but opted for a 5th wheel, a campfire, and some good ol’ s’mores. Regardless of how much we were or weren’t (technically) roughing it, we still had a blast.

Now, I have only gone “real” camping a few times in my life, all of which our diet pretty much consisted of nothing but s’mores. I do recall one time where my friend’s dad did surprise us with a steak and baked potato dinner over the campfire’s grate but that was the extent of our 5,000-star (outdoors, starry nights, get it?) eating. During most camping trips, we’ve always stuck with easier foods like hotdogs. Recently, I had the opportunity to try out a new product that finally allows you to cook and eat well while in the wilderness. Sure, you could pack your entire kitchen’s contents and, true, you could just drive up in a snazzy camper, but sometimes you just want to go “real” camping and that is where this truly comes in handy.

I’m sure many, if not all, of you are familiar with the DuPont Teflon brand, correct? We, personally, love having it in our own kitchen and I cannot tell you how many times its nonstick surface has saved us from a nasty, gooey, stuck-on mess. It really is a life saver in the kitchen but, unfortunately, not all luxuries can join us in the middle of the forest for a camping trip… until now.

Meet the Bugaboo Camper Cook Set. This nifty little set has everything you need for your outdoor mealtimes. Perfect for our family of four, it holds all of our eating, drinking, cooking, and cleaning necessities for any trip. Whether we’re picnicking, hiking, or full-fledged camping, the Bugaboo Camper Cook Set has us covered and then some. Including place settings for four along with cookware, it is a great addition to your camping and/or travelling gear. And the best part? It all fits into this adorable little carrying case that is, not only a space saver, but chock full of, literally, everything that you’ll need!

The brilliant idea to color code the place settings was a feature that went over extremely well with the kids. They could each choose their own color and knew that it was meant just for them.

We ended up making a favorite chicken pasta dish of ours. Since the Bugaboo Camper Cook Set included, both, the pot for the pasta as well as the skillet needed to cook the chicken, making this was a breeze. The included lid also doubles as a strainer so it worked perfectly for this particular dish.

The biggest test that we put it to was the cleanup. Thankfully, though, the DuPont Teflon Classic nonstick cook surface saves the day by, both, resisting scratches and speeding up the cleaning process. There is no need for scrubbing furiously because these nonstick coated pots and pan hold true to the DuPont Teflon name. Cooking over an open flame is no longer an issue either! Your food will, without a doubt, cook evenly and cleanup is a cinch. You can even use the sack as a wash bin!

And our meal turned out wonderfully!

After all is said and done, simply stack the gear back up, place it all in the carrying sack, and you’re good to go on your next adventure!

  7. My favorite Bertolli gnocchi–dried comes in a bag for easy portability, then on to foraging for
greens to make a simple forest pesto to top it off.

  10. Last year we were invited to an amazing campout and we made Quinoa, scrambled eggs, some special sausage, spices, onions, etc. It was SO good, but i’d even go further and lightly grill them up wrapped in tortillas after stuffing them. And of course add a bit of cheese. maybe swiss or something with some tang. We DO live in Wisconsin!

Dang…that was so good! I gotta find the recipe now!

  11. I’d cook some Chicken Primavera!! This set is wonderful cooking and what a spacesaver in a camp trailer!! Wow I love it!
