Dots on Tots Organic Baby & Toddler Hats!

I let the kids play outside for about 15-20 minutes before I switch into operation: “cover up and block the rays” mode. Bugsy has pretty sensitive skin still – as does Luv, really – so I was happy to hear that Dots on Tots would be sending us their certified organic sun hats to review.^[*]

We received two blue and white reversible sun hats. When I first looked at them, I admit, I was confused. The design looks similar to a diaper cover. *chuckle* Then I realized the closure was adjustable and the two holes would allow for airflow/ventilation. Smart!

Unfortunately, both my kids inherited my sweaty-ness. So wearing a sun hat, while it is great to protect them from the sun’s rays, makes them hot. I noticed they kept cool in their Dots on Tots sun hats while we played outside together.

Each baby and toddler hat features a foldable wide brim to help protect eyes and face from the sun. These are made with incredibly lightweight, certified organic twill and cotton. They are reversible, so it is like getting two hats for the price of one! Luv likes to match her hat with her outfit.

I like that I am still able to keep Luv’s crazy curls off of her neck. I simply threw her hair into high pigtails and put her sun hat on. It worked well!

Luv’s Thoughts:

I think these are cute. I can just turn it inside out and make it blue. That’s Daddy’s favorite color, too. He {Bugsy} tries to pull it off – that’s so funny!

It is rather amusing to watch Bugsy wrestle with the hat. He always gets his way and ends up playing with the hat. Silly boy. *wink*
