I am convinced that we have the ugliest bathroom in the state and, quite possibly, even the country. It is so far beyond stuck in the 1970s that it is not even funny, especially because I wasn’t even alive to see that particular decade. This is our bathroom – chartreuse and celadon.
The bathtub, tiling, and paint have all been designed around that – my countertop. Appalling, right? Now, seeing that we are no longer living in the ‘70s (though the music was pretty amazing), trying to find a way to modernize this particular bathroom was much easier said than done. As a home renter I do not have the luxury of designing or, in this case, completely gutting a room. Thankfully, I have developed quite the eye for interior decorating and have grown quite fond of a pretty amazing company.
I am still a kid at heart and, now that we have little ones, I finally have good reasoning to dream up shopping spree lists for Pottery Barn Kids. All of their product lines are beyond amazing and their newest launch of the ABC collection has literally saved my bathroom and, in turn, my sanity.
Not only does the Pottery Barn Kids ABC Shower Curtain match my ridiculous bathroom but it is fun and educational for children. I love that it has made my, once horrid, bathroom beautiful and my kids love that they can use it as a game. We have sung the alphabet song during bath time, recognized and pointed out each letter, and named objects that begin with each letter. My son’s teacher has even commented on his quick learning and progression in class. Can your shower curtain do all of that?
I am convinced that the Pottery Barn Kids ABC collection will match just about any type of décor and, though some of the stitching on my particular product was frayed, can still stand up to the wear and tear of everyday use. Aside from the shower curtain itself, there are a handful of related bathroom products to help complete the set including the following:
- Applique Wrap
- Bath Towels
- Bath Mat
I am certainly eyeing up and planning to purchase the rest of the collection but, for now, I am beyond thrilled with our new shower curtain. I am no longer ashamed of our bathroom and finally have free reign to decorate as I see fit. The ABC collection features a slew of primary and secondary colors which allows me to switch things up for seasonal decorating as well. The curtain can be purchased for an ARV of $59.50 through the Pottery Barn Kids website. I have yet to come across a Pottery Barn Kids product that I haven’t drooled over and, I promise you, this curtain continues with that tradition. It is stylish, cheery, educational, bright, playful, durable, and above all else, fun. All in a true Pottery Barn Kids fashion.
If you haven’t already done so, be sure to follow Pottery Barn Kids on Facebook and Twitter for chances to win different products throughout the year. Maybe you’ll get lucky and snag an ABC curtain for yourself!

Wow I think the shower curtains (and everything else) in the bathroom is cute!! This is a nice and fun design for children (so cute)
What a fun way to make taking a bath more fun for the kids!
That is the cutest shower curtain I have seen in a long time. All are great items 🙂
That’s a really great pattern, my boys would love it. I especially like the Rocket Ship rug. Don’t worry about your bathroom, styles have a tendency to come and go, you are just set up for the next trend!
