How many of you have seen it? That is, of course, the first “official” photo of the new, little royal family.
Can you believe that this adorable baby – the one and only – Prince George Alexander Louis is already a month old? Oh boy, how time flies when you have little ones! Now, while I refer to my own boys as “princes,” little George is the very first, true Prince of Cambridge. And, if he is anything like his father or uncle, I’m betting that he will soon become part of a fairy tale, happily ever after dream for many of today’s toddlers.
“Prince Charming,” it’s something that we, as little girls, grow up believing we’ll find. Yes, I’ve found my own but he is more of a goofball in aluminum foil riding along in a muddy Jeep as opposed to the cliché knight in shining armor riding up on a white horse. I love the way that my happily ever after is turning out but Kate, she got the real deal. All of her bedtime story fairy tales came true. She found her prince. A real prince… titles, royalty, the castle and all. Once your sweet little girl next door, Kate has now become the Duchess of Cambridge. It’s a modern day fairy tale. It is a real life fairy tale. There was no fairy godmother, no magic, and no poison apples. There was just love.
Every good story, every fairy tale, every happily ever after needs to be told. For these stories we have books, nightly tales that open our imaginations, our minds, our dreams, and our hearts. Will & Kate, well this is their story… their love story. This is not your typical girl meets boy, boy falls for girl, and wedding bells ring kind of story. This is more than that. This is girl meets prince and the future of new royalty starts here.
A Real Prince is Hard to Find: A Modern Fairy Tale is exactly that; a modern fairy tale. An adorable little girl living in the countryside, reading Cinderella and dreaming of what her future would hold was just like you. She was just like me. She is you. She is us. Kate, however, was lucky. Kate found something that many of us search for our whole lives – love.
And it just so happens that she found it in a man that very few of us even get the chance to meet – a real prince.
Of course, we all know the story from there. The royal wedding and the honeymoon…
…and now, the royal baby!
This book tells the tale of the, now, Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and the story of their lives leading up to welcoming their precious new bundle of joy – a real prince. I, truly, cannot tell you how cute this storybook is. “Too cute for words” definitely fits the bill in this case and rightfully so. Just take a look for yourself and imagine your own “happily ever after.”
Amongst the never-ending collection of fairy tales, this book is a must have for your bookshelf. Not only does it encapsulate the magic of any other children’s story, but the truth behind it reminds kids (and all of us for that matter) that dreams really can and do come true. A Real Prince is Hard to Find: A Modern Fairy Tale is the perfect addition to your little princess’ or prince’s library.
