Meet Char. He’s a feisty feline who thinks he’s the boss around here. He is also quite the particular fellow. From his litter to his food, even what he scratches – he has a preference for everything. Unfortunately that means if something isn’t up to his standards he lets us know. He had a cat scratcher, but it was old and didn’t give him the same satisfaction as it used to, so he turned to our furniture.
Thankfully, I was introduced to an eco-friendly cat scratcher recently that Char has given a non-opposable thumbs up to. We received a Scratch ‘n Shapes cat scratcher from Imperial Cat. It is made with 100% recycled paper and printed with soy-based inks. Best of all it is made in the USA! The scratcher comes with organic cat nip as well, to help introduce your kitty to their new scratcher. Char uses his new scratcher throughout the day, sometimes in a fury. I’m glad he is enjoying it and giving our furniture a break! When his claws have shredded it to bits, we can just toss it in recycling.
There are plenty of other shapes available too. If I had gotten my choice it would have been the Giant Ramp scratcher. Our other cat, Athena, prefers an inclined scratcher. With the blue race car scratcher, she has merely sniffed at the catnip and walked away. I suppose she is a particular kitty as well.

I am a huge dog lover, we currently have 3 in our family. I am always looking for great toys for them. Scrappy is my 3 year old toy poodle and he is just as playful as a puppy which is great since we have a puppy too! I was recently sent a toy from Bionic for my dogs to play with.

The Bionic Ball I got was actually too big for my small dogs (I have a yorkie/pom puppy, yorkie and a toy poodle) but I did notice that it is made of solid rubber with a hole in the center for treats or peanut butter. The way it’s made it can bounce in either predictable or unpredictable ways depending on where on the ball you bounce it. It’s a bright color so it’s easy to find and it floats.
Our proprietary “Bionic Rubber®” material ensures that your dog will enjoy playing with the Bionic Ball for a long time. Learn more about our innovative material and our guarantee.
I think if my dogs were to get a Bionic Ball to play with they would have hours of fun with it and I feel confident it would last for a very long time. Bionic also makes other shape toys like the Bionic Bone, Bionic Toss-N-Tug and a Bionic Stuffer, all made from the same Bionic Rubber material.
