My daughter loves anything soft and fuzzy, that includes live animals as well as any type of stuffed animal she can get her little hands on. So when the opportunity come for me to receive a Wugadog I knew Jaylin would be thrilled, it was even better when they sent one for all four of my kids.
The Wugadogs are a collection of six “short-nosed” plush dogs: a boston terrier, a pug, a boxer, a pekingese, a shih tzu, and a bulldog.
The first Wugadog to be released is the Boston Terrier, so that’s what the kids got. He’s cute and in a position I haven’t seen a stuffed animal of any kind in, the the stretchy “downward-dog” yoga pose, which according to Wugadog’s site, is his favorite (The Boston Terrier is based on the creator, Darrin’s, real life dog Angus and this is his favorite pose). Wugadogs are unlike any other stuffed animal, they are coming out one at a time and once one is gone, they are gone, also, no 2 Wugadogs are going to be on the shelves at the same time. Each of my older kids keep their Wugadog on their bed and sleep with it every night, Jeffery and Jaylin even sometimes have their dogs talk to each other while pretend playing. This Boston Terrier Wugadog will be released on October 1st, the next breed will be released 8-12 weeks after that and so on like that until all the breeds are released (they estimate December 2013)
I think it’s great to support a company that helps others. In July 2012, Tall Trees Toy works donated 300 Wugadogs to the Women’s and Children’s Hospital of Buffalo, NY in a wonderful event where Darrin and his wife Janet went from room to room and handed out the toys to sick children.

When Wugadogs are released on October 1st they will retail for $8.99. I would like to get the whole collection for all of my kids, and at that price I think it’s possible! I can’t wait for the Pug to come out, I love them!
