Bake Me a Wish – Carrot Cake Review

 

The name says it all!  These cakes are the things that we all wish for.  I was so thrilled when I found out I was going to be reviewing a Carrot Cake from Bake Me a Wish during our “Leap into Spring” event!  I previously reviewed the Cookies and Cream cake on the Speedy Gourmet, and loved it, so I couldn’t wait to try another one of their amazing cakes (Carrot Cake happens to be a favorite for my husband and I).

When the cake arrived, I was thrilled, as you might imagine. It was packed carefully, and it was fresh and cool. It didn’t have freezer burn at all (which is always a concern for me). The inside of the cake was light but full of flavor, and the layers of cream cheese frosting were divine. The frosting was sweet but no overly sweet.  The cake was beautifully decorated and mine had an Easter plaque on top.  I have to apologize – I failed to take a picture before we dove into the cake.  However, you can see this beauty pictured at left!

My family (and I) devoured this heavenly Carrot Cake in no time.  We all agreed that it was very tasty and fresh, and definitely something we would order again in the future. Of course, I want to try all of the flavors from Bake Me a Wish!

I try to support companies that give back, and Bake Me a Wish.  They always have a way to help those in need, or those deserving.
 
I really enjoyed my cake.  The cake I received is not the only flavor available, they have so many yummy varieties.  Melissa  (Outnumbered 3-to-1) is reviewing their Chocolate Mousse Cake (and giving one away too!).
