Luminance Skin Care Travel Kit

I am big on skincare, and I love trying new and effective products. What I do not like, though, is using skincare products that are full of yucky chemicals. I recently discovered a wonderful new skincare line that doesn’t use “icky” stuff – Luminance! The nice folks at Luminance Skin Care asked me to review several of their products*, and of course, I was happy to oblige!

Where do I begin? I honestly cannot tell you which Luminance Skin Care product I like the most, because they are all just amazing. Their products are raw and organic. They do not contain waxes, metals, fragrances or unnatural oils. What they do contain is the goodness of the earth, which does wonders for the skin.

I have been enjoying using the Luminance both morning and night, and let me tell you, my skin has never felt so nourished.

The Luminance Face Cleanser, Rosewater Face Toner and the Skin Lotion are three of my very favorite products. The cleanser contains all kinds of beneficial ingredients, including the following oils: Coconut, Palm, Jojoba, Apricot Kernel, Macadamia, Avocado, Palm Kernel, Meadow foam, Argan, Kukui,Grape Seed and Rice Bran. Oh, and it also contains soap…which is actually a good thing (you can read more about the benefits on the Luminance website). It always surprises me when a product so natural, cleans so well. But I love it for more than just it’s cleaning powers…it makes my face incredibly smooth and soft. When I use this trio, my skin  just feels nourished.

Luminance Skin Care Serums are wonderful for my old skin!  Okay, I am not that old, but sometimes my skin thinks differently.  I love applying the serum and eye cream, and I can only imagine how much my skin is thanking me.  Tamarind and Tamanu Seed extracts act as collagen in the skin, and help to improve elasticity. If you suffer from acne, there is even an acne serum (and several other acne products from Luminance)!.

The Luminance Rose Water is so refreshing! Oh, is it going to be nice during the warm summer months too, to spritz my face with this wonderful water!

Spraying yourself with our Rosewater is like swiming in freshly plucked rose petals. It’s fragrant, pure, and will leave your face dewey with rose oil.

It also serves as a pH adjustment. This is how you help your face correct dry skin, oily skin, and skin that vascillates betweent the two (combination skin). Tap water is too alkaline for your face (sometimes in the high 9s). Your face is happy in the upper 6s. Spray your face with rose water after exposing it to tap water and your skin will thank you for it.

Our rosewater is not a hydrosol. It doesn’t have any alcohol, solvants or astringent. Just pure rosewater.

Luminance Skin Care has a huge variety of products for every skin type. I am blown away at what a difference their products have made in the look, feel and health of my skin.

In addition to the above products, Luminance also carries soaps, in their Montclair line!  I received 3 bars and let me tell you, they smell heavenly! The Fresh Tangerine is my favorite by far, but they are all decadent.  They carry nine other soaps as well, and an assortment of these would make a wonderful holiday gift!
