Mantry, the Modern Man’s Pantry Review

Mantry, interesting name. But what exactly is it?  Well, it’s best described as the modern man’s pantry. A monthly food box that helps the foodie man in your life discover artisan food from right here in America. Each Mantry includes 6 full size artisan food products delivered to their door. Packed in a handmade wooden crate each Mantry includes a custom manual detailing product stories and recipes.

The Mantry mission is simple – to deliver a new and exciting food experience every month. The food & beverage items that you’ll receive in your Mantry are not your typical grocery store varieties. Each Mantry crate is themed, so the products will complement one another.

It’s pretty amazing, if you want my honest opinion. With the holiday’s right around the corner, it’s a perfectly unique gift for that special fella.

We received the Coffee and a Smoke Mantry box. It contained:

• La Quiercia Smokey Borsellino
• Hot Georgia Soul BBQ Sauce
• Lark Fine Foods Espresso Chip Shortbread Cookies
• Granola Jones Mocha Haze granola mix
• Dave’s Coffee Coffee Syrup
• Olive & Sinclair Buttermilk White Coffee Bar

The best part – these food came from around the country and are items that certainly can’t be found in my neck of the woods. Rhode Island, Texas, Massachusetts and a few from neighboring states, Kansas and Iowa.

So Mantry is geared towards the guys….but I didn’t let that stop me! I enjoyed absolutely everything in the box! My favorite, which is now my new addiction is the Dave’s Coffee Coffee Syrup. Take 1 cup of milk and a tablespoon or two (to your liking) of the syrup and it’s the adult chocolate milk. Amazing!
