They’re at it again! I See Me books! that is!
For those of you that are avid readers of Eighty MPH Mom, it is no secret that I am a HUGE fan of the
I See Me! company and their product line. With a vast array of superb children’s books and many more fun items available, they provide families with a fantastic lineup of outstanding – and personalized! – products. Most recently, I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to check out one of their newest available books. Introducing the
I See Me! Speedster Personalized Book.
In our family, especially with the mister being a car connoisseur, to say that our boys absolutely love all things car related would be an understatement. Whether they’re helping Daddy “fix” a car, tinkering with an engine on their toy workbench, racing around the yard in their Power Wheels vehicles, climbing over furniture with toy monster trucks, or even just zipping and zooming across the living room floor with their Matchbox cars, the happenings in our house are almost always somehow related to anything and everything with wheels and an engine. Now, we have an extensive library of children’s books for our kids to enjoy and I cannot even begin to tell you how many of those titles are car related. However, the one story that they didn’t have was a story about them. The kids have actually made up their own racing stories in lieu of having one to read but this one, the
I See Me! Speedster Personalized Book, well, this one takes the cake.
If your child dreams of getting behind the wheel and zooming around, your child will be thrilled at how this children’s personalized book weaves him or her into the story and art of this book. Details you can personalize include the child’s name (which appears on the cover and throughout the book), gender, birthday, skin tone, hair color, favorite color, and even the child’s hometown which will be used to name the race track in the story. You can also modify a personal dedication and upload a photo of your child.
This book has been an absolutely wonderful addition to the kids’ collection and is, by far, their favorite of the bunch. Aside from personalizing the book for our oldest son, we were able to include our youngest and even Daddy in the storyline as the competing racers.
The story itself is adorable and – surprise! – there’s even a cute little nod to Mom inside. Surely it may coincide with a llama, but it is a book that the entire family can enjoy! One of my own favorite aspects of the book comes at the end. After the race is over, a newspaper article is featured celebrating the title character’s win. Within the context of this little article is an interview with one of the other racers. In our case, this was his little brother. While he is quoted as saying that he wishes he had won, he congratulates the winning racer on a fantastic job done.
Not only does this book honor the title character in regard to being personalized for them alone but I love that it encourages good sportsmanship through an underlying message. Your child will surely enjoy the thrill of the race and the crazy antics that happen along the way but, as a parent, it is nice to see that there is great meaning tied into all of the fun.
