Molly’s Suds Cloth Diaper Laundry Powder

Molly's Suds Cloth Diaper Laundry Powder Review & Giveaway

I’ve used {and loved} Molly’s Suds Laundry Powder before; so when I had the opportunity to check out the new Cloth Diaper Laundry Powder, I was stoked. It’s funny the little things that get me stoked anymore. An all natural laundry powder specially formulated for cloth diapers? *squee*

I have my own washing routine for cloth diapers, and I was glad to notice that the recommending washing wasn’t too far off from what I already do! So I followed the washing directions that Molly’s Suds recommends via Real Diapers Association. Dump. Rinse. Wash. Rinse {x2}. Dry.

Molly's Suds Cloth Diaper Laundry Powder Review & Giveaway

after first rinse, added two scoops of laundry powder directly in the washer.

It works like a charm! When washing diapers I always wash on HOT. There’s a twisted sense of satisfaction that comes over me know that the hot water is killing any germs in the diapers and wipes. Yes, we use cloth wipes, too.

Worthy mentions:
○ The ingredients are simple: Sodium Carbonate sourced tom the Green River Basin in Wyoming, sodium percarbonate, sodium bicarbonate, unrefined sea salt.

○ This Cloth Diaper Laundry Powder formula follows the same “no list” as the original Molly’s Suds Laundry Powder {No SLS/SLES, parabens, phosphates, etc.} and add on other ingredients that may irritate your baby’s skin or void certain cloth diapers’ warranties. Molly’s Suds Cloth Diaper Laundry Powder has no essential oils, fragrance, enzymes or dyes!

○ Gluten-free – this is something we pay close attention to after we eliminated glutens not only from our diet, but from products used in our home. I also appreciate that this formula is nut free and free of GMO ingredients.

○ Biodegradable and septic safe, certified vegan, and certified cruelty free by Leaping Bunny.

Molly's Suds Cloth Diaper Laundry Powder Review & Giveaway

I’ve been using the Cloth Diaper Laundry Powder for both Bugsy’s diapers and clothes for a couple of weeks now. I love that it rinses away completely – I couldn’t help but peek during the rinse, I saw no bubbles. That’s so important for both my HE machine and his cloth diapers. Knowing there is no residue to mix with the ammonia of urine and irritate his sensitive skin gives me peace of mind. I’ve also noticed no repelling or stink!

Now if only getting my little guy diapered and dressed was as easy as doing his laundry…

We use Molly’s Suds Cloth Diaper Detergent and the Laundry Powder and we love both! I had no clue what the actual cost per load was, so it’s awesome to find out that it’s only costing me a few pennies (especially since I do clothing laundry almost 4X a week sometimes).

Wow, It is great to know that this product is free from GMOs. Call me crazy but with GMOs everywhere I get paranoid since there are not enough studies being made and the few that have are bad, really bad…
