Our little ones are pretty good about picking up after themselves but, with an entire room full of playthings, they were never quite sure of where exactly to put things. I’ve cleaned and organized it time and time again, though after a week or so, messy it was once more. Originally, one of my main goals to accomplish with our Brother P-touch PT-H100 was to get the chaos of our garage straightened out. To be completely honest, I’m still a bit intimidated by that particular venture. Really though, this is a bit scary…
And now, with the holidays upon us, I thought it’d be much more fitting to get the interior of our home squared away. Ever since moving in, our home office and (what should be) guest room has become our unintentional storage area. Since this room is supposed to double as, both, our home office as well as our guest room, we have to assure its functionality. It also acts as the only spare sleeping area aside from the living room couch. With plenty of friends and family coming and going through the holidays, getting the room in order was at the top of our to-do list. Up until now, I was lost the second I set foot in the room. Never knowing where to start, it became habit to just close the door and decide to “do it later.” Procrastination is an evil little thing but, thankfully, this time around I have my Brother P-touch PT-H100 in hand and I’m ready to go.

As for the rest of the room, there is surely still plenty of work that needs to be done. However, I’ve concentrated the mess into neatly organized (and labelled!) boxes to make further organization an absolute breeze. We even got Daddy in on the action and had him tackle the organization of the fish tank and its accessories.

Handy! I never thought of labeling a desk drawer but it makes sense!
This would be wonderful to have when we reorganize our basement storage room after Christmas! I usually just write names on a piece of tape and stick it to the box. This would make everything look much more neat!

Love the idea of labeling storage boxes especially so you can read them! We hand write what is in the box but it always fades or is illegible.
That would be handy! I think I’d label some things that go in our deep freeze.
