Welcome to the Mother’s Day Must-haves event! Each day we will be bringing you our favorite ideas for Mother’s Day this year, and lots of chances for you to win too! I have never met a cookie I didn’t like, and Vosswinkel Family Cookies are no exception. What a fabulous idea and definitely a unique gift idea:

We provide unique and delicious specialty cookies, hand shaped to resemble fruits and vegetables. They are available in a variety of packages that will leave a lasting impression. For many years our friends, families, and the charities we’ve been involved with, have been encouraging us to bring them to the marketplace…and so we did.

Thanks to my partner in this event, we were both able to review not one, but two tins of these amazing Vosswinkel cookies! When I received them, I was stunned – literally. My mouth hung open as I admired these little works of art. I have never seen anything like this at all. My first thought is that they were made of marzipan {which I do not like at all}, but no, they were colorful fruit and veggie shaped cookies.

This is a beautiful assortment of “tie-dye” Easter Eggs, each in a special flavor. The flavors include Huckleberry, Creme Brulee, Key Lime Pie, Lemonade, Coconut Cream, Buttered Popcorn, Strawberry Cheesecake and Orange Creamsickle. The set also contained cheesecake carrot cookies and Belgian chocolates. Where do I begin describing the fun my family and I had sampling these? We looked at the flavor chart {conveniently included with the assortment!}, and started our cookie adventure. Each one tastes completely different, and the buttery goodness shines through in every bite. There is definitely no chance of your taste buds getting bored with these! Our favorites were the Key Lime, Lemonade, and Strawberry Cheesecake.

The Combination Vosswinkel Fruit and Vegetable tin is their most popular item. The cookies are elegantly displayed – it is a feast for the eyes {and eventually the mouth…}.  I was in awe of how real to life each cookie was. Each fruit and veggie cookie is a different flavor, and again, it was so fun to look on the chart to decide what we wanted to try next. Maybe the Corn on the Cob {buttered popcorn} is your favorite? Or perhaps the Leek {Creme Brulee} is more your style. There really is a flavor for everyone.  You can even choose the color of your tin!

Vosswinkel Family Cookie Company cookies contain no tree nuts or peanuts. They also contain no preservatives! Because of this, they recommend that their cookies be enjoyed within 1 week of delivery for peak flavor. The cookies do freeze well for up to 3 months in an airtight container :).
