Since I started blogging, I have been invited to several events which require me to fly and travel a lot. After finally experiencing travel at it’s finest {which includes trying to stuff bags into the overhead compartment on the airplane}, I have discovered a few things that work for me:
- Don’t bring a check-on bag unless absolutely you absolutely have to. It is time consuming to wait for bags, plus you run the risk of them losing it!
- Bring a carry on bag that is big enough to hold your laptop so you don’t have to lug it around on your shoulder!
- Invest in a well-made carry on suitcase – some of them break really easily.

Why does a suitcase excite me so much? Well, as noted above, I have tried several different ways to travel, and now future travels will be so much easier, thanks to Travelpro. The suitcase I received is huge. It is a carry on but weights only 6.5 lbs! This will completely eliminate my need for check-on luggage as it is so roomy, and even has enough room for my laptop! No longer will I have to pick and choose only a few articles of clothing, because I will have room for everything I need without having to sit on the suitcase to close it 🙂
One of the first things I noticed about this suitcase {other than it’s good looks!} is that there are three handles. Normally there are two – one on the top and usually one on the side. This has a third handle on the bottom of the suitcase, which will make it really easy to either pull it quickly down from the overhead compartment of the plane, or at the luggage carousel if you do decide to check your baggage. I really love this idea, because I often struggle while trying to get my bags down from the overhead compartment. I am really short too, so that doesn’t help. But now I can search for one of the three handles, grab and go!
Next I noticed how the inline skate wheels. This puppy is able to turn sharp corners with ease. That is perfect for me, as I tend to whiz around fairly quickly. Another nice feature is that it is stain resistant! You will understand why this is a good thing if you read the post about my spilling issues while traveling.
