NATURA PILLOW REVIEW

There is nothing better than climbing into bed after a long day and resting my head on a comfy pillow. If you know me, you know that I am extremely particular about my pillow. My husband would agree completely with this statement as he sees the rejects that are in the closet. I don’t toss them in there to be mean, but they just didn’t meet my specifications. I am also “that” person who brings her own pillow when traveling.

I was contacted to review a pillow that sounded pretty spectacular, and I am so happy I said yes! The Natura Lavender pillow that I received has become my BFF. No kidding. Not only was I intrigued by the lavender scent (my favorite scent ever), but I was curious if it would be “right” for me. No need to worry – this is by far the most comfortable pillow I have ever laid my head on.

All Natura pillows are made with wholesome, carefully chosen natural materials like latex, cotton and wool, but a handful of select Natura pillow offer a little bit extra to boost your beauty regime. Luxury pillows nourish skin, reduce stress, invite relaxation and protect you from bacteria. A beauty boost in a cozy bed buddy.

For this Natura pillow, there are three scents available – Aloe, Ylang Ylang and Lavender. As I mentioned above, Lavender is my favorite scent, so that seemed like a good choice. I did worry (before I received it) that the scent might be too strong for my liking, but I am happy to report that it is light and fresh, and very relaxing. Between the scent and the incredible comfort, I don’t know how to describe it but heavenly. Though I always look forward to bedtime, knowing my Natura pillow is waiting for me makes bedtime come a little earlier lately. I honestly let out a big “ahhhh” when my head touches it 🙂 The lavender enriched cotton blend cover is removable, and there is a removable sachet that is filled with REAL lavender flowers!

A little more about my new BFF:

The Natura Lavender Pillow offers both a granulated latex surface to mimic feather down, and a solid latex surface for extra support to release tension from neck and shoulders. I am so impressed with this pillow. It is soft enough to be squishy and comfy but not so soft that my head is basically touching the mattress. It is firm enough to offer the support I need without making me feel like I am lying on a slab of concrete. The Natura Lavender pillow is the perfect combination of firm and soft – just the way I like my pillow.

As I mentioned above, Natura pillows are also available in Ylang Ylang Pillow and Aloe.  It would be a blast to have one of each and switch every night for a new type of relaxation.  Pillows aren’t the only items that Natura carries though – they have organic mattresses and bedding (including pet bedding!), baby bedding, and so much more.

These folks really know the meaning of unwinding.  There is an “essentials” section which includes relaxation CD’s, robes, a sound machine and several sprays.  There is even a clearance section – woo hoo!
