View Television in a Whole New Way with Panasonic – Review

 

How many of you watch television? Okay, that was a silly question, right?

Earlier today, I was going through old photos and caught a glimpse of a few seemingly ancient television sets in the background. Remember the ones that had VCRs built into them? What about the physically giant “big screen” televisions? Then there were those gems with knobs on the box as opposed to having a coinciding remote control, fun! Much like my photographic blasts from the past, we’ve come a long, long way since those days. Television has come a long way. With that being said, Panasonic has been there through it all.

These days, technology plays a huge part in our daily lives. Whether we’re making calls from a cell phone, updating our various social media accounts, enjoying random funny videos from across the internet, watching movies through gaming consoles, or even penning (err, typing) a blog post, technology is all around us. I am sure that many of you are aware of the fact that, with many new models, you can enjoy three-dimensional viewing and a variety of new-age features that allow for an optimal television experience. However, did you know that today’s technology takes television watching to an entirely new level by allowing you to directly speak to it? So much for having to physically get up and turn that dial; today you can, quite literally, instruct your TV to do what it is that you want. Now, for those of you that are already up to speed in today’s technology driven world, what would you say if I told you that one of the industry’s oldest companies is at the forefront of the technological breakthrough?

Recently, I had the opportunity to put one of the newest Panasonic models to the test and they’ve surely outdone themselves once again. Please allow me to introduce you to the Panasonic AS650 Series 3D Smart television!

Before we get into the details, yes, having the chance to personally review a brand new television is quite amazing in itself. With this particular television, however, it is the features that set it apart from the rest.

 

• Life+ Screen
  
  This particular feature is probably my personal favorite. Panasonic said it perfectly when they described it as “Beyond Smart.” This easy-to-use feature provides users with a vast array of functions that they can tailor to their own preferences. Use of this feature helps the television learn content preferences for a number of users and makes navigation easier for each of those users.

 

• my Stream
  
  The my Stream feature of the Panasonic AS650 Series 3D Smart television is essentially an ongoing recommendation of content. After the Life+ Screen learns of each user’s preferences, the my Stream will then recommend online content for each person to ensure a more personalized viewing experience.

 

• my Home Screen
  
  This feature is, by far, my children’s favorite aspect of the television. The my Home Screen feature can truly be customized by each user and be tailored to their own preferences, favorite content, and more. They’ve given it the best comparison by likening it to having various user profiles on a computer. After adding all of your favorites onto your personalized my Home Screen, you can easily find exactly what it is that you’re looking for as soon as you power on the television. Be it a favorite program, personal pictures, your own video collection, frequented social outlets, or Video-on-Demand, the my Home Screen aspect of the Panasonic AS650 Series 3D Smart television puts all of it right at your fingertips.

 

• my Home Cloud
  
  Much like a cloud feature on your favorite tablet, phone, or computer, the my Home Cloud makes it possible for users to download and gain access to a variety of content, apps, and more. Here, you can purchase numerous accessories through Panasonic and their own Cloud Technology.

 

• Remote Sharing
  
  When I say “sharing,” what comes to mind? In this day and age, we are constantly sharing an infinite amount of photos, videos, messages, and more through the use of technology. The Panasonic AS650 Series 3D Smart television’s Remote Sharing feature allows you to do just that. Through this, you can now share all of these with your television from your smart phones and tablets while away from home.

 

• Web Browser
  
  This feature is a no brainer. Through the Panasonic AS650 Series 3D Smart television’s built-in web browser, you can search the internet, visit your favorite websites, connect with friends on social media, get updates on news and weather, stay up to date on the latest in entertainment, follow along with your favorite blogs, and so much more.

 

• 3D
  
  It is a whole new viewing experience! Up until recent years, we were only able to view television in one form. With the Panasonic AS650 Series 3D Smart television, you can now enjoy fantastic three dimensional viewing. Having incorporated a 3D re-mastering technology, Panasonic has taken the television experience to a whole new level with enhanced dimensionality and a rich, crisp image.

 

• Swipe & Share
  
  We do it every single day – swiping across our phones and tablets. With the Panasonic Swipe & Share technology, it is now just as simple of a task to transfer all of your favorite content from your smart devices directly to your brand new Panasonic AS650 Series 3D Smart Sharing content with your television with the simple swipe of a finger allows you to seamlessly access your favorite photos, videos, music and more directly from your TV. The best part of this particular feature is that it also works in reverse. With the swipe “back” option, you can share content from your television to your mobile device so that you can access all of your favorite content on the go!

 

• Smart Touch Remote
  
  You can talk to it! Really, it is that simple. Ages ago, we had to turn that dial on the television, then there was the standard remote, and now we can quite literally control our television with our voices. Having recently moved into our first house, it’s been a daunting task to get everything just right. It is absolutely no secret that the Panasonic AS650 Series 3D Smart television is superior in terms of technology as you can clearly see but what surprised me most were the aesthetics. It’s said that great things come in small packages and, in this case, it is quite the true statement. Although the screen size may be large in terms of viewing area, the entire interworking of the television is packed into a total area of just over two inches in dimension.

 

With such a thin profile, the Panasonic AS650 Series 3D Smart television can be displayed nearly anywhere. Whether you’re mounting it on a wall or utilizing its included stand, it is sure to be a wondrous addition to every room and in any home.

 

I am so incredibly thankful to now be able to enjoy the Panasonic AS650 Series 3D Smart television in my own home and I’ve received such great compliments on it from friends and family. In regard to both the look and the technology, this TV is beyond amazing and I highly recommend it. I love that we are able to truly customize it to meet our needs and it has been such a pleasure to share the experience with our entire family.
