Paper Jamz Pro Microphone

Our whole family loves music. None of us have the best voices around but we enjoy dancing and singing at our own concerts in the afternoons. Recently I had the privilege of reviewing the Paper Jamz Pro microphone. As I was trying to open the box my girls were hovering to see what came and after it was open and they saw what it was they wanted to immediately try it out.

“Hold on” I told them because I had to read the instructions. The microphone comes with 2 songs already on it. There is room for a total of 3 songs and you can change them out easily by downloading the Paper Jamz Pro app. I was able to load Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, and Taio Cruz as our music in about 1/2 hour. Next time should be quicker because I already have the app and it is very easy to switch songs out once they are downloaded to your online library.

Next up was the fun part. We had the cousins in from Ohio when the Paper Jamz Pro Microphone arrived and they were as anxious to try it out as our girls. I wish that the microphone was a tad longer but I understand that if it were longer it might get tangled or in the way. We solved the problem by setting up a small table for the effects amp to rest on while the girls held the microphone. Here is a short clip of that concert.

The Paper Jamz Pro microphone has a bunch of neat features which include:
Singing a duet with the artist or go solo and become the artist
Auto mode adjusts effects on the fly to recreate a track’s original sound
USB compatible
There are a number of voice effects as well to change things up. They are:
Perfect Pitch: Analyzes and tunes your pitch as you sing so you never sound out of key
Auto Harmony: Makes you sound like part of a perfectly harmonized duo or trio
Auto Vibrato: Adds richness and warmth to your voice
Chorus: Multiplies your voice to add depth
Perfect Melody: Analyzes and tunes your pitch as you sing so you always sing in harmony

This clip better shows the microphone. Obviously as a mama I enjoyed the first concert very much but to really see the microphone in action 1 person singing (or 2) is better. My daughter really brings it home with the chorus.

Overall I think that the Paper Jamz Pro microphone is a fun toy for the kid who loves to sing. I liked the option to load our own music and also for girls to change the effect of their voices. It is made well and the sound is very good. My children are a little under the recommended age of 8+ but all 3 played with it perfectly and enjoyed it very much. Paper Jamz has other products worthy of mention such as their Paper Jamz Guitar. I watched a video on youtube where a little boy was jamming out on one. So cool! Paper Jamz also has Pro Series drums if that is more your thing. If you love music you are bound to find something suite your interest.

I have to run now because there is a concert going on at the zoo and this time Justin Bieber is in the house.

  1. Our condo always has get together bbq’s and then we all love to sing after
    eating and enjoying.

    This would be great not only for the adults but the kid’s also ! Their tiny
    voices would be able to be heard without them trying to strain the tiny voice !
