Fuel Their Creativity with Paper Punk

Kids are so into technology today but sometimes it’s nice to find things to capture their attention that don’t involve a computer or gadget. That’s where Paper Punk comes in this holiday season. Each kit is made up of flat, pre-cut paper that kids punch out and make into a 3-D model. The paper is thick but not quite as thick as cardboard making it sturdy enough to sit up on its own for display. Paper Punk kits are available in a variety of characters and themes including Spongebob, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, an ape, a pup, and even a city scene with over 650 stickers. Ranging in price from $9.95 to $24.95, these fun kits would make a great gift this holiday season.

We received Spongebob (seen above), the Pup, and the Ape kits for my son to build. My son started with Spongebob and has worked on it a little bit but hasn’t finished it as of yet. The pieces do take some time to punch out but if your child has a bit of patience, this can be a fun project to do during a cold winter day indoors.
