Have Some Oinking Fun with Peppa Pig this Easter

 

Easter may be all about bunnies and baby chicks these days but there’s one thing that you can’t forget – the pig! Yes, you read that right; the pig. While the holiday has seemingly been taken over by bunnies, baby chicks, dyed eggs, candy, and more, there is still room for our curly-tailed friends. Now, while I’m sure some of you may very well be fond of the idea to welcome a sweet, smelly, little pot-bellied pig into your home for the holidays, I’m referring to one that doesn’t involve being on your dinner table or making a sty of your living room. Instead, this little piggy will bring a wondrous amount of laughter right into your lives and into your holiday celebration.  Just in time for Easter, please allow me to once again introduce you to Peppa Pig.

Peppa Pig is one of the few television show favorites in our house and for good reason. After all, who doesn’t love laughter, muddy puddles, and a boatload of fun?

Peppa is a lovable, exuberant little piggy who lives with her little brother George, Mummy Pig, and Daddy Pig. Peppa’s favorite things include playing games, dressing up, days out, and jumping in muddy puddles. Her adventures always end happily with loud snorts of laughter.

As a Peppa Pig VIP Parent, I was recently given the opportunity to share some wonderful Peppa Pig products with my family. This beautiful little set arrived to me packaged in an adorable Easter themed basket and was filled with fabulous Peppa Pig goodies.

I know that Peppa’s First Sleepover will be a wonderful story to come back to when the excitement (and anxiety) of their first sleepovers come along.

As for the On the Go Coloring Pouch, these things are a life saver! We typically don’t keep many play items in our vehicle due to the potential of projectiles in the event of an accident but these little artwork pouches are absolutely perfect for exactly that – on the go. Included in the pouch are 24 coloring sheets, 4 crayons, and a sticker sheet to coincide. My little ones love these types of things for not only lengthy car rides but even for trips to restaurants and doctors’ offices as well. With this one featuring the oinking, snorting, laughing, and muddy puddle jumping Peppa Pig, it is already a huge hit with the kids.

As for the character playset, what kid doesn’t love being able quite literally play with their favorite on-screen friends. With this playset, kids can enjoy having their own little adventures with Peppa Pig and all of her friends. Watch as your children create their own storylines with the characters. I’m sure that, much like the show, play will always end in a fit full belly busting laughter.

Then, there are those cookies! This one is a no brainer – chocolate chip cookies! What’s not to love? They are even greater when coming from a box bearing the photo of the one and only Peppa Pig!

Lastly, there was an adorable t-shirt included in our gift basket. Not only was this particular shirt Peppa Pig related but it was George related. For those of you that don’t know, George is Peppa’s younger brother and he absolutely loves his stuffed dinosaur. My own boys do love the Peppa Pig show but they also associate with little George just as much as Peppa herself. They were thrilled that they could now show off their Peppa Pig fandom while doing so in what they deem a boyish way.

Overall, this collection of Peppa Pig items is a wonderful hit in our home and I know that each and every one of these items would be a fabulous addition to your own Easter and springtime celebrations.
