When you have four girls, you tend to know all about the dolls they love. They have tall ones and ones with big eyes, tiny ones and ones that change color. You can always tell which ones are their favorite though because they’re the first ones they reach for. We received two of these new #SNAPSTAR dolls, which are fashionista figures. Just to give you an idea of how much my girls love them, I’ll tell you that within a day of getting them, they insisted on going out to buy two more with their own money. That’s really saying something!
#SNAPSTAR fashion dolls from YULU are gorgeous, poseable, and with the help of the free #SNAPSTAR Studio app, completely customizable. Each doll comes wearing her own stylish outfit and a beautiful [removable] wig. One of the big things that makes #SNAPSTAR unique is the interaction with the app. Your kids take a picture of their dolls on the accompanying green screen and stand, which disappear in the app. It’s so easy to do!
Once the photo is in the #SNAPSTAR Studio, kids can customize the hair, makeup, accessories, and awesome backgrounds. My kids have talked about creating their own videos with their toys before and I think this is such a good start. They did all kinds of photoshoots with their dolls and I heard them telling background stories to each other about what their dolls were up to. “Mine is modeling for a magazine.” “She’s going on vacation with her best friend!” You can share the photos from the app to social media or just keep a personal lookbook album.
Right now, the #SNAPSTAR Squad consists of six girls in a variety of different outfits and looks. Dawn looks like an elegant entrepreneur, Echo is dazzled with rainbows and fur, Aspen is a flower child, Lola is all about the unicorn, Yuki is definitely going clubbing, and Izzy does her own thing. We received Dawn and Echo but when the girls handed over their money for more dolls, they said “I love them all, get me any one you want!” Based on what was in stock at the time, we came home with Aspen and Lola but we can’t wait to get Yuki and Izzy!
Honestly, these dolls are so affordable that it’s really not a stretch to get the entire collection. If I’d been able to get all of them right then, I would have just finished the set! Let’s put it this way… the price is actually less than the tiny oddball dolls whose heads fall off and these are of WAY better quality. They’re sturdy, the outfits are completely adorable, and even I enjoyed playing with them with my kids. There are so many options to customize on the app but I also told the kids that since the wig attachments are the same size, they can also just trade hair! Dawn looked like famous singer when we put Echo’s hair on her and Echo looks pretty cool with the short blue hair she has under the wig!
There are so many fun things to do with #SNAPSTAR dolls and sure, I have to say the whole disclaimer thing because I got the first two for free but seriously, I’d be recommending them either way. I love the price, I love the quality, and I love the studio! I love the creativity at play here!
#SNAPSTAR dolls are now available at Walmart.
