Preparing for a vacation next week, I haven’t really been taking on a projects because I’ve been so busy getting my home cleaned up and my supplies packed! The minute I was proposed a review for Stampin’ Up though, I jumped on that! You may remember a post I did on Stampin’ Up several months back for their Seasonal Snapshot line of scrapbooking goodies. I am such a huge advocate for Stampin’ Up and I’ve never seen anything like this company before in my life. I’ve told so many people in my daily life about how Stampin’ Up has given me a second chance at scrapbooking because it’s so quick and easy!
I never get the chance to craft anymore because I’m always blogging so can I tell you how fun it is to get to do scrapbooking as a part of my work?! Stampin’ Up has available so many tools that help you easily create a scrapbook with a crisp and organized, professional look! The albums are light but heavy-duty, with rings inside to hold the sheets. The pocket pages have varied sizes for different-sized photos, cards, and pages. Each card is beautiful and unique, some a bit more plan and others with very artistic designs across them. Some of the cards have areas to write blurbs or quotes of your own, while some of the others include quotes or prompts that make for a perfect addition to your page! The stickers make for a lovely accent and a fancy touch!
I was particularly excited about this Stampin’ Up theme…“Happiness Is” from their Project Life collection! The first thing I always use to describe my own life is ‘happiness’. I knew that this theme would fit perfectly in a scrapbook of my life and family and Stampin’ Up did not let me down! The cards have these inspiring images and quotes on them. I love the “We go together like:” checkmark box cards, I found that adorably sweet! The designs with the little hearts and the happy sentiments are such a great piece for my books! I loved the nice and, as usual easy-to-clean, stamp options along with the bright and happy ink colors!
For my first page, I did somewhat of an introduction. I included pictures that show the happiest things in my life: Family! I incorporated some of my favorite love-filled cards and cute stickers. On my second page, I created a memory page for our fifth anniversary. I left a few spaces open to fill in for our anniversary trip next week! I included the flowers that my husband bought me and even a little journal entry referencing the crazy situation we had at our anniversary dinner. I love that it leaves me areas to detail what you’re looking at in my memory book, to write about what the occasion is or explain a funny moment from that day.
My favorite part about Stampin’ Up is still how such little time and effort on my part can make it look like such a pretty book of memories! Before Stampin’ Up, my scrapbooks either looked thrown together or were massively time consuming and you know what? Really costly. Embellishments, papers, sheets, books, everything would cost individually and I would spend so much trying to get it all for one theme.
I love the everyday theme of Stampin’ Up’s “Happiness Is” and that it can be applied to all of your albums and memories! I think it’s inspiring and fun, and totally made for me. As usual, I highly recommend Stampin’ Up whether you’re an experienced scrapbooker, new to scrapbooking, or someone with little time and lots to journal!
