Heat Up Your Valentine’s Day with Cards from Treat, The Nick & Vanessa Lachey Collection

Nick & Vanessa Lachey for Treat

All I am, all I’ll be,
Everything in this world,
All that I’ll ever need,
Is in your eyes,
Shining at me.
When you smile I can feel,
All my passion unfolding.
Your hand brushes mine,
And a thousand sensations,
Seduce me ‘cause I,
I do, cherish you.

Sweet, isn’t it? Now imagine an incredibly handsome man singing this tune to you. It’s even sweeter, right? It’d be like every prince charming story, every “happily ever after” coming true. But more often than not, those fairytale stories of handsome men riding in on white horses are best left for the little ones.

Heck, who am I kidding? It is Nick Lachey, people! The eldest of the Lachey brothers from the band 98˚ aka the epitome of 1990s boy band heaven. Between him and the talented lot of company surrounding him, what girl wasn’t swooning? After donning my bedroom in posters of their likenesses and singing along to all of my favorite tunes for years, I grew up. Instead of a knight on a white steed, I found my own “prince charming” and, together, we created our own “happily ever after.” It was then that I finally realized that had been the idea all along. The fairytales, the serenading, the love songs; they weren’t meant for the prettiest princesses of the most exclusive clubs, but instead, they were and are for everyone. We just have to write the pages to our own stories. However, there are those few… those few princess-like women that get to claim these knights in shining armor as their own and that, well, that happily ever after is still something that we women look up to. Their real life stories emulate our tales from childhood and it is an incredible thing to bear witness to. Watching their love stories play out in everyday life inspires the masses to follow suit, to be kind, to love greater.

Nick & Vanessa Lachey

Nick did that. He and his wife, Vanessa (of MTV and Entertainment Tonight), created their own fairytale romance. The chivalry, the sweetness, and, yes, even the often dreamt about serenading. After five years of enjoying the bliss, they married and, soon thereafter, welcomed an adorable son into the world. Their love story is a modern day fairytale. She was the princess and he, the good-hearted hunk that came to sweep her off of her feet. The courting, the ball gown wedding, the doting parents, and sweetly sung lullabies all add up to their own version of happily ever after. And now, they want to share all of it with you.

“Nick and Vanessa radiate both tenderness and spunk, and this charming combination is captured perfectly in their Treat Valentine card collection,” said Melissa Moody, Treat Card Expert. “These cards offer delightful designs and genuine sentiments that speak to the heart, something that can’t be found in a generic greeting card from the drugstore. Surprise your loved one this year with a one-of-a-kind Valentine.”

These two definitely have the biggest hearts of all and, only to add to that, they, once more, want to share the love with you. Part of keeping that “happily ever after,” well, happy is by continuing to add new pages to your story. Without ever letting the love die, we must, instead, nurture it. Keep the flame alive; enjoy one another’s company, live for today, and find pleasure in the simple things. Instead of only envying the picturesque fairytale romance of Nick and Vanessa, go out and live your happy ending. In addition to their Treat collection, here are five fun personal tips from the couple to help you spice up your own Valentine’s Day:

  1. Hire a sitter and get all glammed up for a “date night” to a new and unexpected destination – like a midnight movie, exhibition at the local museum, or a live theatre performance.
  2. Cook breakfast together and enjoy it in bed.
  3. Book a romantic getaway to watch the sunset, and then order room service and enjoy a movie. Be sure to place the ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign on your door… and sleep in the next morning!
  4. Indulge in a couples’ massage and relax together at the spa. Better yet, give each other a massage at home and fill your room with scented candles and use edible aromatherapy oils.
  5. Listen to live music together, either jazz at a local spot, or an intimate concert at a nearby vineyard or restaurant.

Regardless of whether you go all out or make things simple this year, we sincerely wish you nothing but the best for this Valentine’s Day and all of those to come.

  1. I have never heard of this line of cards. So nice to have something else to choose from. I’m very picky and it takes me a long time to find the right card!
