As a parent in today’s world, I am self-described as “camera happy.” Whether it is with my cell phone, my fits-in-my-back-pocket camera, or my DSLR, I am constantly taking photographs. Unfortunately, however, most of those pictures tend to live forever within my computer’s hard drive and only see the light of day on my days of reminiscing. While it may be true that I, very likely, have entirely too many photos to ever find space for in our home, the current costs of printing has a lot to do with it. As an amateur photographer, I have also developed an eye for great photographs, both, in camera and in print. This is also a large factor when it comes to having photos printed because “okay” is something that will not do. The photographs that we choose to display in our home should, in my belief, portray our family at its very best and in all of its color. Most home printers and paper options do not offer this quality. A favorite display of mine is canvas and, often found only at high cost, is not something that we can routinely splurge on – until now.
YouFrame Canvas Photo Wraps allow you to print on canvas right at home! Usually only done in portrait studios and factories, beautiful canvas portraits are now available for, truly, everyone.
After reading the directions and choosing the correct print settings (including “borderless”) on my computer, the project was quite simple. However, I do recommend that you choose your photos wisely. One particular photo that we used ended up with the top portion of it not being seen once wrapped around the frame. Thankfully, this did not take away from the photo itself. The photo in question was also one that was taken quite a few decades ago, thus leaving me very impressed with the overall quality of the YouFrame Canvas Photo Wraps. The ability to print such photos directly onto canvas opens the doors to a much broader market. It would be the perfect gift for grandparents to allow them the chance to preserve priceless photos from their childhood and ancestors passed.
In regards to today’s photos, the YouFrame Canvas Photo Wraps work wonders. I’m sure that you know, as parents, full family photos are few and far in between. Mom or Dad always has the camera in hand so most good home photographs only include one parent. The handful of pictures that do include our whole family are usually my favorite and most prized possessions. Of course, this being the case, I had to choose one to print on canvas! Taken by an amazing photographer friend of mine, professional quality work looks flawless on the YouFrame Canvas Wrap!
Now, among vintage photos and family portraits, landscapes are another piece of artwork that is often found in many homes. The Grand Canyon, with endless views depicting great beauty amid its roughness, is inspiration for numerous photographs of nature at its best. The varying colors and high contrast of this national park is something that screams for high quality printing. I had to put this one to the test and, again, the YouFrame Canvas Photo Wraps proved its own greatness. See for yourself:
In the end, my skepticism came to a screeching halt. I absolutely love our new YouFrame Canvas Photo Wraps and at only $29.99 for a set of three – yes, all three! – I cannot wait to pick up some more. Just think of the amazing and endless possibilities! Be sure to keep up with them through their Facebook page to get all of the latest news and project ideas.
They are available for purchase, both, in-store and online through Office Max. Not only would the YouFrame make a perfect decorative addition to your home but it is also a wonderful gift for, well, just about everyone. We all have photographs that we’d like to display and, at 60% off of usual canvas prices, the YouFrame Canvas Photo Wraps are certainly worth picking up. Or… you could win one!
