Beat Daylight Savings Time and Enjoy #SleepWeek with Zarbee’s Naturals

Zarbee's Naturals #SleepWeek

I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Zarbee’s Naturals. I received product samples and a promotional item as a thank you for participating.

It’s been a week; Seven days. One hundred sixty eight hours. Ten thousand eighty minutes. Six hundred four thousand eight hundred seconds.

It has been one week, only one week, and we still haven’t recuperated from it. By “it,” I mean that darned time change. As much as I love the extra daylight, this whole “lose an hour of sleep” thing is NOT my idea of fun… at all. Add kids to the mix and it’s just peachy – not!

All week has been a back and forth of sleepiness versus being wide-awake and grumpiness versus being cheery. Losing an hour meant being tired which led to a longer nap which, then, turned into not wanting to go to bed. Of course, from there, the next morning was a drag and everyone was off to a sluggish start. That cycle has continued over the course of the week and we are still trying to catch back up on that long lost hour of ours. As much as I miss my own absent hour, it is the kids that have the roughest time with it. Their little bodies need sleep much more than we adults and I cannot help but to feel bad for the little guys.

Zarbee's Naturals Sleep, Bedtime Hours

On top of being super sleepy, one of my little guys hasn’t been feeling too well lately. I’m sure that the lack of sleep has something to do with it but, regardless, this momma is on extra cuddle duty. After tossing and turning for hours, the kiddos slept in our room last night and, thankfully, we had a chance to sleep in a bit – cheers to the weekend!

We all woke up feeling refreshed but, unfortunately, the anguish of the week spilled into yet another day. At bedtime tonight, I was racking my brain trying to think of something that we could do to help soothe him into finally getting a good night’s rest. Then I remembered Zarbee’s.

Previously, I had told you all about the incredible natural medicinal options for children. Covering everything from basic coughs and mucus troubles for babies to adults as well as seasonal allergy relief, Zarbee’s Naturals handles it all in a safe yet effective manner. However, what I neglected to tell you was that they also offer a wonderful natural sleep aid for, both, children and adults.

Zarbee’s Naturals Children’s Sleep is great for instances like this where the time change interferes with our little ones’ sleep schedules and, in turn, causes those nasty little sick buggies to come in and cause trouble.

Zarbee’s Children’s Sleep is a safe and effective remedy for occasional sleeplessness. Children’s Sleep contains 1mg of clinically proven melatonin to promote restful sleep in children 3 years+. The ingredients in Zarbee’s Children’s Sleep are natural, non-habit forming and won’t leave your little ones feeling groggy the next day.”

In addition to using Zarbee’s Naturals for all of those wonky occurrences that throw us and our children off of our regular sleep schedules – Daylight Savings Time, traveling, sleepovers, late night rendezvous, sickness, and more – Zarbee’s put together a great list of helpful sleep tips. Use these nine tips to help your little ones (and you!) get a better night’s sleep.

Also, take a look at this video direct from Dr. Zak (pediatrician and Zarbee’s founder) outlining some more great sleep tips for your children.

Now, of course, even after all of that, when we finally get kids on a good sleep schedule they tend to decide they don’t want it. Let’s face it; most kids aren’t all too fond of bedtime. Thankfully, the awesome team over at Zarbee’s Naturals thought of that too. You can utilize this fun chart to help your little ones become excited about their own sleep schedules. Listing everything from night’s bath time through staying in bed until the next morning rolls around, your children can make use of this cute little chart and see their own progress through the week.
