As you well may know, American Girl has a fantastic collection of timeless dolls, accessories, and books! The 18-inch historical dolls play a star role in the storylines and challenges that modern children can relate to and learn from. These particular dolls and products are great for children ages 8 and up.
American Girl also has Bitty Baby Dolls that are perfect for children ages 3 and up. After we reviewed the Bitty Baby and Me book a while back, Luv has expressed her desire {that’s a nice way to say she has been begging – ha!} for a Bitty Baby Doll of her own. Flipping through the newest American Girl catalog only stoked her request.
I knew Luv would be over the moon when I lined up another gift guide spotlight with our friends at American Girl. It wasn’t long before I called her in to open a mysterious box… she was hesitant at first. I was just smiling! I couldn’t help it. She knew something was up…
It’s a Bitty Baby doll set!!
Luv’s Thoughts:
I think she’s pretty! I’ve wanted her for the longest! I think she really is a little sweetie. I like to throw her up in the air and try to catch her. She likes that, I think. She sleeps under my coat, it’s like a bed. She really takes big, long naps.
I really want a wish for this star. I doesn’t give me wishes. It’s really beautiful though.
Note to self: explain the concept of a “wishing star” to Luv. *chuckle*
I make her breakfast like you do. And she drinks milk. Momma’s milk. I changed her name to Sunstar. I think it’s a beautiful name. I think there’s magic inside her and I love her to bits!
Luv isn’t the only one who adores her Bitty Baby, Bugsy has taken a liking to her as well. And I have to say, it makes my heart swell to see my baby carrying another little baby around. He’ll be a fantastic uncle some day, I’m sure! *wink*

I’m hoping to win this for my five-year-old daughter. We finalized her adoption this past March and she is the funniest, smartest, most creative, talented, beautiful little girl I have ever met. My Grandbebe Girl Makayla is absolutely adorable when it comes to her “babies” … she “brushes their teeth”, sings them lullabies and makes certain they are tucked in next to her at bedtime.
