Crafting with Love – Kiwi Crate Felt Flowers Mini Crate Review

Luv and I are always looking for crafts to do together. So she was beyond excited when she saw a new mini crate from Kiwi Crate on our doorstep!^[*]

Showing someone you love them is easy with the Felt Flowers mini crate. It comes with supplies to make a sweet little bouquet. I let Luv take the crafting reigns and had her read the instructions aloud. Then she was ready to get her craft on!

Inside the mini crate we found felt petals, stickers, buttons, pipe cleaners, a kraft vase, and instructions. There is one caveat to consider though; we were both a little confused as to what to do with all the green circle stickers. The directions said to use one sticker for the petals – so she did, but the result was a top-heavy flower. To minimize her frustration, I suggested we distribute the petal weight among more flowers. So we took some creative liberties and snipped the stems in half, resulting in six stout flowers. Thankfully, she was very happy with the result.

Luv’s Thoughts:

It was cool. I liked making flowers, all sorts of them! And with the little button stems. The stickers were super sticky though, I couldn’t get them off my fingers very well.

Neither could I. *chuckle* Those stickers were super sticky! But Luv had a blast making her felt flowers and I enjoyed watching her concentrate on her creations. She took this craft quite seriously!
