Naturalizer Shoes Dress for Success!

For the past two years, Naturalizer has been fortunate enough to support several inspiring charities through a program called Friends of Naturalizer, designed to give back to a charity that inspires and empowers women. This year, Naturalizer has teamed up with one deserving charity: Dress for Success.

From September 29 through October 2, Naturalizer will be donating $1 from every shoe and handbag purchase – up to $20,000 – to Dress for
Success. With a variety of programs that work to help women not only land the job, but build a career, Naturalizer consumers will be able to help determine which one of three great Dress for Success programs will receive the donation. All three programs exemplify the ideals of Naturalizer and Dress for Success: empowering women to take control of their lives and live them to the fullest.

Programs:

Suiting Program
Dress for Success’ suiting program helps solve the catch-22 that confronts disadvantaged women trying to
enter the workforce: without a job, how can you afford a suit? But without a suit, how can you get a job? The
suiting program is a vital first-step in a woman’s journey towards self-sufficiency. When a Dress for Success
client has a job interview, she receives a complete outfit that will help her feel confident in her interview. After
she finds work, she can return to Dress for Success for her employment suiting.
Professional Women’s Group
Dress for Success’ Professional Women’s Group (PWG) provides the network of employed Dress for Success
women with a community of support, practical information and inspiration to achieve self-defined success in
career and life. The group provides participants with networking opportunities and professional skills growth to
promote the development of their careers.

Success Summit
The Success Summit is an annual three-day conference for Professional Women’s Group
(PWG) members and delegates to develop leadership capabilities through networking, learning new career
skills and exploring topics surrounding employment trends, employment retention and advancement in the
workplace. For participants, the Success Summit is a valuable resource for advancing one’s position in the
workplace and in life.

I think this is such a wonderful program, and I love Naturalizer for it! Well, I also just love Naturalizer in general…especially their comfy shoes! After all, shoes give women the incredible combination of style and comfort that lets you live your life and love your shoes 🙂

To help Naturalizer celebrate Dress for Success, they have so kindly offered a pair of shoes to one of my readers! Simply vote for one of the three programs (mentioned above) that you would like to see receive the $20,000 donation!

  8. I voted for the Suiting program. That seems like the first and most vital step to getting women to work!

  15. I couldn’t vote cause it said it was till the 2nd but I would of choose the SUITING PROGRAM.

  16. I voted for the suiting program, those suits are the most important first step made in the process to finding a great job. She needs to look the part, feel empowered and get her foot in thd door, so she can wow them and land that job!

  17. Unfortunately, the voting has ended for the programs Naturalizer supports, but I would have voted for the Suiting program. I really believe in programs like that. It might seem like a simple thing, but not having an appropriate wardrobe for interviews and beginning work can be the very barrier that keeps disadvantaged women from entering the workforce.

    Thanks!
