Start Your New Year Off Magically with Magic Cabin

The holiday season is a wonderful time to be spent with family and friends but being cooped up indoors due to cold and frigid weather can, eventually, take a toll on even the most content homebody – even more so when you have children. The repetitive ear piercing cries of “I’m bored!” followed by the almost simultaneous arguing over a specific toy can, sometimes, leave we parents wishing for and dreaming of warmer weather. Children need to have a way to release all of their pent up energy but the chilly temperatures, freezing rain, sleet, and snow make it near impossible for outdoor play. Now, what if I told you that I knew of a way that would allow your children to be silly and goofy indoors all while safely working out their high energy levels AND playing nicely together? Would you be interested?

If any of you answered “no” to that question, well, more power to you. As for the rest of the world, it’s true! Sure, there are plenty of indoor/outdoor toys that could, in theory, do the same but my children’s love of baseball will not ever fair well inside the house. However, thanks to Magic Cabin, I found a product that truly works wonders no matter neither its place nor the weather forecast. First and foremost, Magic Cabin is one of those websites that has it all. From boys to girls and new to vintage, they have something that will suit everyone and then some. Choosing one product to review was a task much easier said than done. In the end we chose the Spiro Bouncer because of its ability to be used anywhere.

We have loads of outdoor toys – climbers, a swing set, a play house, a handful of slides – but there has always been one thing missing and, of course, it happened to be one of my kids’ favorite play things. Seesaws are a classic childhood pastime but, unfortunately due to injury, you don’t see them that often these days aside from their usual appearance at public playgrounds. We have boys so, while I do not want them to ever injure themselves, they are rough. They run too fast, climb too high and, yes, boo-boos happen. Now, unless you take a seesaw and lift it ten feet off the ground, I cannot realistically foresee any serious injuries occurring. My main concern with these toys was big brother jumping off and leaving the little one to butt slam onto the ground. Lucky for me (or the kids, really), with the Spiro Bouncer “butt slams” are a thing of the past. This particular seesaw is, more or less, two bouncy balls that are fixed to a seesaw frame. After already mastering the art of hopper balls, this seesaw is a breeze, right? Yes!

I love it because I have finally found something that is absolutely perfect for them. They are too big for teeter totters but still too young to be able to handle a classic seesaw. That is what is great about Magic Cabin. They have products that are geared toward each and every age group, for every child, for any personality type and all within any budget. The larger Spiro Hop is what originally caught my eye but priced at $179 and being recommended for the 5-8 age group, we chose to go with its smaller counterpart.

Magic Cabin’s Spiro Bouncer is a seesaw with a twist – literally. It playfully combines the seesaw motion with bopping, bouncing and spinning. This is, by far, a toddler’s dream come true! And, since it’s a worry free toy for us parents, it is definitely a win-win kind of purchase. As previously stated, it can be used, both, indoors and outdoors even allowing for extra stability with the option to add sand to its base. Set up was a breeze. Having a do-it-all Daddy in-house certainly comes in handy but I’m convinced that, given the opportunity, the kids probably could’ve put the Spiro Bouncer together themselves. The assembly took less than ten minutes and I had to fight the urge to give the bouncing a try, myself. However, each seat only supports up to 55lbs. and I passed that limit quite some time ago. Darn. Perhaps they should make an adult version! Now, wouldn’t that be grand?! No worries though, Magic Cabin really has something for everyone in every single age group. I even had to talk the big guy out of allowing him to review the Fun Ride zip line for himself!

Until then, I know that this gift from Magic Cabin will certainly be put to good use. Not only will it allow the little ones to happily play indoors but, as soon as the weather warms up, it will make a great addition to our backyard playtime festivities. Regularly priced at $99.99 but currently on sale for $59.99, it is the perfect toy for indoors or out and for any occasion. Make sure you keep up to date with Magic Cabin through their social media pages – Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest. They offer quite a few sales, specials, and contests throughout the year and we want our readers to be first in line to catch any opportunities that arise.

  2. WOW… I don’t think I have seen such nice and unique things!! I know a little girl who would be SO in love with their little fairy dolls and the little fairy “house” kits. And their fairy wings.. and a cloak… there are for real a dozen things I have seen right off I would love to get. I think I see I will be the most popular gifter on their birthdays, ever!!

  3. I too liked the Spiro Hop even though it was more money it would last them longer because they are to big for the smaller one really because they would only have about another year to ride it. With the Spiro Hop they would have 4 years to enjoy it. I also found the Wurlybird Flyer that I liked a lot.

  4. My daughter ggot a kitchen for christmas and will spend hours playing with all the features. The Gingerbread Baking Kit would be a really fun addition to this toy!

  5. Visit the Magic Cabin website and tell me what other product catches your eye — Wooden Mouse Bowling Game
